Venture targets men’s grooming market

Will they make it to the top? Beverly Hills celebrity dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer and entrepreneur and style setter Ryan Seacrest, host of American Idol, have announced a partnership to launch a new venture targeting the men’s grooming category. A men’s skin care line is in the works to launch late next year. Dr. Lancer is known for effective skin care solutions among celebrities and others. Seacrest is a long-time patient, friend and now business partner—and no one can argue that he’s maintained a youthful appearance.. According to Tracey Sameyah, CEO of Lancer Skincare, LLC, the new venture combines Dr. Lancer’s 30+ years of expertise and innovation with Seacrest’s proven influence and discerning eye for style and trends. She says both recognize and understand the growing demand for quality men’s products that deliver serious results. While the line will utilize the very principles of Dr. Lancer’s renowned Lancer Method, the new offerings will feature entirely original formulas that expertly navigate the specific skincare needs of men today. Sameyah says, “There was never a doubt the Lancer franchise would eventually include a men’s range. We don’t believe any brand in this space is currently able to straddle male-centric skin care, cutting innovation and appeal to successfully address the male consumer of today. However, we strongly believe that the partnership between Dr. Lancer and Ryan is truly unlike any other.
